Our Company
Asian Americans have reported the greatest increase in depression and anxiety across all racial groups since 2020 with 53% of Asian Americans citing mental health concerns as a significant source of stress. Yet, Asians remain the least likely of all groups to receive effective mental health treatments. As a result, Asian young adults are the only racial group with suicide as the leading cause of death.
Anise Health is pioneering culturally-responsive and personalized mental health care for Asian Americans with its AI-powered digital platform. Anise trains its diverse team of providers, intelligently matches providers to patients, enables accurate diagnoses and progress measurement, and recommends personalized treatment plans according to its specialized care model which integrates teletherapy, behavioral coaching and evidence-based digital resources to address cultural stressors such as bicultural stress, perfectionism, complex family dynamics, and more.
Since launching, Anise has demonstrated best-in-class clinical outcomes, including 96% of clients report feeling heard and understood by our providers and 92% show improvements in symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress by Week 12. Currently, more than 5 million Asian Americans can affordably access our services using insurance through our contracts with major health plans, such as Aetna, Blue Shield of California, and Optum (part of United Healthcare).
