Cache Financials is a bespoke brokerage offering investment products tailored towards individuals with large concentrated stock positions. Our flagship product, the Exchange Fund, was launched in March 2024 and has scaled to over $750 million in assets.

The Role

We're seeking a Senior/Staff Product Engineer to join our engineering team. This team member will:

• Work on building our product experience, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and continually builds trust with our client base.
• Collaborate closely with designers and product leaders to break down product requirements into engineering tasks and implement them quickly.
• Identify and push for platform-level improvements to ensure our frontend applications can continue to scale without negatively impacting product quality, performance, or developer experience.
• Develop high-quality internal tooling to empower our operations team and enhance their ability to serve our clients.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals
• First principles problem-solving approach
• 5+ years of professional software development experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (preferably NextJS/React)
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members (design, operations, product, marketing) to distill complex product requirements into actionable engineering tasks
• Ability to quickly implement and iterate on product features

• Experience with data visualization/animation libraries
• Strong design sense
• Experience with retool
• Ability to leverage AI tools effectively
  • To test applications end-to-end
  • To implement AI-assisted product and internal tool features
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
